Stock splits are important to consider when assessing the performance of an individual stock, or its contribution to your portfolio risk and returns. The data set includes any announced splits and associated critical terms, and is updated with any changes as the action evolves in real time.

Benzinga’s stock split data set is updated throughout the day and features the stock split ratio, announcement date, and distribution date.

Companies like Tesla and Apple have seen great success since their last stock split – it seems that many companies plan to follow suit.  Whether a split is a positive or negative catalyst, make sure your users are aware and make sure your backend data is up to date!
